Selena Gomez was snapped looking stony-faced last week when she was presented with a lovely bouquet of roses and the singer then took to Twitter over the weekend to post that it's all about "quantity over quality," but was the brunette babe linking back to the single red rose that ex beau Justin Bieber is said to have given her for her 21st birthday?
Selena celebrated turning the big 2-1 back in July and sources said that Biebs turned up to the bash with a single red rose.
"Justin flew in specifically for the party on a day off from his tour," the source previously told Us Weekly, adding: "He wasn't dressed in costume, but carried a single red rose in his hand."
Selena, who is currently in Milan with her Stars Dance tour, was spotted hanging out in the Italian city last week and she was snapped looking unimpressed when a man handed her a bunch of roses, instead handing them onto her security guard to carry.
While most would find the gesture rather romantic, Selena appeared to turn her nose up when the local approached her holding a bunch of red and white roses and continued to walk past the fan with a stony-face before a man believed to be her security guard appeared to relieve the man of the bouquet.
The brunette babe then took to Twitter on Saturday, after she made an appearance at Milan Fashion Week, to post a snap of herself with a single red rose, posting: "But it's about quality not quantity."
And with the Come & Get It singer referencing to her ex boyfriend during every performance on tour, as she includes some of the headlines surrounding their failed romance on a screen behind her as she belts out Love Will Remember, is the single rose photo hinting that she's missing the Baby superstar?
