Demi Lovato stopped by Live with Kelly and Michael to talk about going to Africa for her 21st birthday, plus shared what fans can expect on the new season of The X Factor.
Demi said that her new favorite place is Kenya, as she recently traveled to Africa with the organization Free the Children to help build a medical clinic.
She said she "got to experience so much" in those five days, "learning about their culture and helping them out."
Demi also went on safari, calling it "amazing."
Overall, she said, the trip was "the most life changing experience I've ever had in my life" and it was hard for her to return home.
Demi also talked about her role on Glee and how she nabbed the part, getting a call to meet with the show's creator the day before she left for Africa.
As for The X Factor, Demi seemed excited for fans to see the judging panel and talked about what it's like to work with Simon Cowell.
