Is One Direction planning to take a whole year off?
After Liam Payne seemed a bit grouchy over being exhausted recently, Simon Cowell voiced his opinion on the matter of overworking the music group.
Simon, who manages 1D's label SyCo, told Fox News, "If I ever thought one of our artists was being over worked or over promoted you would just have to say to them 'you've made enough money, just take a year off.'"
He added, "You have to be sensible about it."
Sensible is one thing--but taking advantage of the here and now when a band is riding the wave of popularity is often more important than having downtime.
We don't foresee One Direction taking any major time off soon, especially since they're well booked with the release of their movie and finishing up their Take Me Home tour.
In 2014, they've already got a huge stadium tour lined up.
They can rest another year, we suppose.
