So One Direction star was probably more pleased than perturbed when he was mobbed by female fans as he exited his hotel in Long Island, New York on Friday.
The singer had a big smile on his face as he inched his way through the huge crowd that had gathered outside.
The 19-year-old had styled his floppy brunette locks in a chic messy 'do, concealed his eyes with jet black sunglasses, and donned a plaid T-shirt that revealed a hint of his heavily tattooed chest.
Harry also sported a chain necklace in what appeared to be a weak nod to rock'n'roll.
As he singer headed towards his concert at Jones Beach, female fans lined up to take snapshots with the British star.
And lucky for them, the Little Things singer obliged, stopping to pose with select enthusiasts on the way to his car.
After arriving at his tour stop, Harry tweeted: 'The stage is very close to the water tonight. Possible dip.'
Along with the Twitter post was a picture of the venue and surrounding water.
Harry and the rest of the One Direction members share the cover of the August issue of the American edition of Glamour magazine for their annual music issue.
The cover image sees Rosie Huntington-Whiteley surrounded by the boys, holding hands with Harry while putting her other hand on Zayn's cheek.
