In honor of Throwback Thursday, here's Justin Timberlake as a middle schooler!
Before he was a chart-topping singer, A-list actor and Jessica Biel's husband, JT was just another eighth grader in the 1995 Memphis Commercial Appeal spelling bee.
Check out the photo of Justin that Scripps National Spelling Bee shared on their Facebook page of the "Suit & Tie" singer. We'd recognize those famous curls anywhere!
Sadly, Justin didn't win his spelling bee when he misspelled the word "wharf", but he did win "local and national talent competitions" in addition to being president of the Beta Club and a basketball player back in the day.
Justin just announced some other big news: he'll be headlining the iTunes festival in London on September 29. So despite losing the spelling bee, he's clearly doing just fine!
