Pucker up — the 2013 MTV Movie Awards are just days away, and there's going to be plenty of lip-locking when the curtain goes up at the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, California, on Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET.

Loner Charlie (Lerman) receives his first kiss courtesy of older friend Sam (Watson), and it's a lovely (albeit chaste) moment in this big-screen adaptation of Stephen Chbosky's coming-of-age novel. But the second time the two lock lips? Well, there's nothing wallflowerish about it, which makes Charlie's eventual unraveling even more heart-wrenching.
Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper, "Silver Linings Playbook"
Two damaged souls find each other in this silver-screen retelling of Matthew Quick's beloved novel. The sexual tension between Tiffany (Lawrence) and Pat (Cooper) builds throughout, reaching its climax in a crazy-cute dance performance, capped off with a lingering lip-lock. It's standing-ovation worthy, to be sure.
Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman, "Moonrise Kingdom"
Young love always finds a way — even if it means running away from home to places unknown. Such is the case for youngsters Suzy (Hayward) and Sam (Gilman), who share their first kiss on a wind-swept shore during their wilderness adventure. Just watch out for those sand granules, kids.

Kerry Washington and Jamie Foxx, "Django Unchained"
Nothing will keep Django (Foxx) from the woman he loves — not even a tyrannical plantation owner played by Leonardo DiCaprio. So when our hero returns to reclaim his wife Broomhilda (Washington), his passion cannot be contained in a measly peck.
Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg, "Ted"
The relationship between a grown man and his stuffed teddy may be the focus of Seth MacFarlane's furry comedy "Ted," but one smooch between Lori (Kunis) and John (Wahlberg) proves that it's not all about a bear (despite what Ted might think).
