In the wake of the Haylor breakup, The Ready Set wanted to pass along some words of wisdom and encouragement to Taylor Swift in the form of a song, letting her know that her breakup with Harry Styles is "For The Better."
Jordan Witzigreuter posted the song titled "For the Better (Dedicated to Taylor Swift)" on his YouTube Channel, along with a brief explanation as to why he wanted to comment on the Haylor spilt in a "gentlemanly fashion."
"You see, I am a gentleman myself - a classic type of fellow. You might even find me sporting a monocle at times," wrote Jordan. "That being said, I like to think of this little song as 'melodic commentary.' Enjoy."
The song plays off of Taylor's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" with the line, "Whatever...ever...ever, it's for the better." It also alludes to her infamous MTV VMA run-in with Kanye West and mentions her favorite number, 13.
