On Jan. 27 One Direction's Liam Payne took to Twitter to thank fans after receiving an award at the NRJ awards in Cannes, France the evening before. He also fielded a fan's question about how much he enjoyed touring with One Direction.
So on a scale of 1-10, how much fun is it really for Liam Payne to spend so much time with Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Harry Styles? In a rare Twitter conversation with a fan, Liam responded that it was off the charts. He tweeted, "100000 tourings my favourite thing :) [sic]"
Of course, Liam and the rest of One Direction are back in the UK, resting for a couple of days before rehearsals for their tour start again in earnest. Payne obviously realizes just how lucky he is to have such great fans that support the group and have helped propel them to the top of the Billboard charts.
One Direction currently has three songs in the Billboard Hot 100 including "Little Things" at No. 39. It is the little things like responding to fan Twitter posts that help make One Direction one of the hottest acts on the planet.
