There have been numerous rumours surrounding the Harry Styles and Taylor Swift split recently, and it's now been revealed that the reasoning behind the much talked about split may have been because Taylor 'only ever talked abut antiques.'
According to Radar Online whilst Harry was always desperate to enjoy the party scene, Taylor seems to be getting old before her time and was always keen to chat about her antique collection, which the 1D band member soon got bored with.
The showbiz pair split up on a New Year's break in the Caribbean, according to various reports the couple had an almighty row leaving Taylor to fly home early and Harry moving to Richard Branson's Necker island to continue partying.
According to other insiders, the Mail Online reports, it was in fact the One Direction's star love of a good party that was one of the reasons they didn't last.
"He has been very upset. He was into Taylor, and thought that they might make a go of it, although with the tour coming up it would have been pretty tough. In the end, he is a young guy who likes to party, and she is a bit quiet and serious, and they were on different pages when it came to what the romance actually was," Harry's 'friend' says.
With a five year ago gap it does seem feasible that the two were simply at different stages in their lives. Another insider though insists that despite wanting to be single, Harry would never want to hurt Taylor: "He is a nice lad who wouldn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings," says another friend who played golf with him recently, according to the publication.
"Harry is a bit like a kid in a sweetshop. He’s 18, rich, famous, good-looking and single. And he’s really, really interested in girls. And by girls, I do mean older women," they added.
Taylor recently tweeted that she was heading back to the studio, wonder how much goss she'll leak in any upcoming tracks aimed at the 1D star?
