Demi Lovato took a trip backstage with her moon man after winning Best Video with a Message.
"The new season of X Factor is going to be amazing," she told reporters, with "tons of drama between the contestants, which I haven't seen but I'm dying to see." Reporters were curious if the new judge had any advice for Idol's new face, Mariah Carey, and who she's likely to see judge beside her. "I can't give ANY advice to Mariah Carey. That would just be silly. I'm still new at judging myself. Who I would like to see on American Idol would be Nick Jonas. I heard he was in the running."
How has it been working with X Factor's Simon Cowell? "Well," she said with a grin, "He's a bit of an (expletive). I'm totally kidding! We have so much fun together. He's given me such an incredible opportunity... Behind the stage we actually love each other."
What was her first album? "I think it was Britney Spears," she said. "Working with someone I idolized growing up is a dream come true … the fact that I'm getting to sit next to her in real life for any reason is pretty incredible."
