The pop superstar, whose group has legions of pre-teen fans, wore the rude shirt as he headed to the final performance of their US tour yesterday.
And the offensive garment was clearly visible to crowds of young girls as he left his Florida hotel.
The young star teamed his controversial shirt with a pair of khaki trousers and trainers, accessorising with a skateboard and an enormous watch.
Fortunately, his bandmates were more restrained with their wardrobe choices, with Harry Styles in navy blue shorts and T-shirt and white Converse trainers.
Liam Payne didn't even bother with shoes, heading out in a dark T-shirt and shorts, while Niall Horan went for a trendy vest top and light shorts.
And Harry, who was in the audience for the Florida gig, was clearly impressed by the shout-out.
He later said on Twitter: “Icon. Coldplay were in another class tonight!”
