LIAM Hemsworth's older brother Luke has spoken out about his future sister-in-law, saying his brother and Miley Cyrus are "really in love".
Luke, who recently appeared in Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms, told Entertainment Weekly that Cyrus and Liam were an ideal couple.
"They actually are a perfect match in a lot of ways," the 31-year-old said.
"I think a lot of people don't realise that they are really, really in love."
He said 19-year-old Cyrus showed maturity well beyond her years and she had won the hearts of his family.
"She just loves our kids, and our kids absolutely love her," he said.
"She won our hearts.
"I find her really interesting. I find her very articulate, and years in maturity above her age. But at the same time she's very much like Liam."
Liam, 22, and Cyrus, who got engaged at the end of May, recently walked the red carpet at the Australians In Film Awards and benefit dinner in Los Angeles.
On the red carpet, Cyrus told Celebuzz! that she liked that Liam was passionate about his work and was a hard worker like her father, country music singer, Billy Ray Cyrus.
"My dad has always been a really hard worker - so I like it when men work hard," Cyrus said.
"I always work really hard, so it is good to have someone that is as passionate at what they do and wants to be great at what they do, instead of just being OK. We always strive to give 130 per cent."
Liam popped the question with a 3.5 carat diamond ring by jeweller Neil Lane.
