One Direction may be an oxymoron for the boy-band's actions. The group seems to be going in several directions when it comes to news on Friday. One Direction headlines include: Denial of gay rumors, reports of snogging Caggie Dunlop, and signing onto X-Factor as mentors.
Wow - if the recent news of Harry Style's new tattoo, the female fan mob attack or the newest movie trailer were not enough - the band just had to completely dominate the music entertainment gossip columns. News of signing on with the X-Factor to be mentors has Simon Cowell licking his chops; as it has only been two years since he discovered the group on X-Factor.
Fans interested in the personal lives of the pop singers, were shocked by gay rumors and today Louis Tomlinson has denounced the rumors strongly, asking for people to stop repeating that he and Harry are lovers. Of course this is bad news for the girlfriend of Louis who was reported today to have bought his girlfriend a "Mini One D car. Liam Payne, not to be outdone, gave his girlfriend an "Audi TT sportster."
Let's not get to far away from the "snogging" reports. According to Unreality TV, Harry did snog Caggie Dunlop, after partying in London earlier this month. Unreality wrote, "Insiders have claimed that the duo go way back and even enjoyed a snog last September, just before the One Direction star ended up dating Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack." Evidently snogging is just kissing passionately, so fans don't need to be too worried.
There is more news for the really dedicated, One Direction will be appearing on the radio, Saturday. Rumors of a band split are denied.
Elton John Friday gave One Direction band members good advice,
“Try not to get too carried away with the clubs and all that cr*p — but it’s very difficult, because I did. If you enjoy it, you’re young, it’s a different thing, just go for it." Elton added, “Just make sure you don’t get too drunk. What am I saying — I did the f***ing same! Just go for it and see what happens.
