One Direction have confirmed that fans can expect a new single "very soon."
The lads - who recently celebrated their second birthday - are currently in the process of selecting the lead single from their next album, with Louis Tomlinson explaining they are deciding between three songs.
During an interview with In Demand with Alex James, Irish singer Niall Horan revealed: "We actually haven't picked one yet."
Tomlinson then added: "We're going to be picking it very soon, very soon. There's two or three... there's about three songs that are all good contenders."
The X Factor group were also asked about rumours concerning a possible collaboration with fellow teen heartthrob Justin Bieber, with Louis denying all knowledge of their supposed hook up.
Tomlinson stated: "There's actually been no talks between either of us. I think it's a story the press has stirred up. We'd like to have [a collaboration] on the album but who knows?"
In other 1D news, Harry Styles was left red-faced on live TV after being pranked by Nickelodeon.
The curly-haired heartthrob was led to believe that a woman had gone into labour before interviewing the band, with Louis and bandmate Zayn Malik aware of the joke.
According to The Daily Star, Harry 'freaked out' when the actress pretended to go into labour, and is quoted as saying: "Why is no-one here? Can somebody help us?”
Styles then laughed when the woman said she had "just farted", with Liam Payne also falling for the prank by ringing her fake hubby. Niall was apparently "dumbfounded."
After it emerged it was a joke, Harry stated: "I was actually thinking this is going to be a great press story. One Direction deliver a child!”
