Nick Jonas speaks on stage at the 2012 Kids Night on Broadway event held at Madame Tussauds in New York City on Tuesday night (February 7).
The 19-year-old actor hosted the event which allows kids ages 6 to 18 to see Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. The ticket includes pre-theatre parties, restaurant discounts, parking discounts, educational programs and more.
Nick shared in a statement (via Playbill), “As someone who got their start as a kid on Broadway, it’s truly an honor to be involved in such a fantastic event. Broadway played an enormous role in inspiring me to be the performer I am today, and as this year’s [Kids' Night] ambassador I hope I’ll be able to encourage kids across the country to get involved in the theatre — whether on stage, behind the scenes, or in the audience.”
