THIS is the moment a romantic Brit popped the question — with the help of Bruno Mars and 100 dancers.
Peter O'Donnell, 31, whisked girlfriend Siobhan Byrne, 26, away to New York on a surprise New Year trip.
During a walk in the city's Central Park he shocked her by getting up and joining in a flash mob dancing to Bruno Mars' hit Marry You.
Peter had recruited the volunteer dancers online and had been secretly learning the routine for weeks before the trip in a bid to win her hand.
He eventually emerges from the crowd and gets down on one knee to ask: "Will you marry me?"
Peter, a dental technician from the Lake District, said afterwards: "Basically I knew that Siobhan loved flash mobs.
"I just wanted to do something really different. I couldn't think of anything else that would suit her.
"At the start of the night we went to see the tree featured in the film Home Alone and then went ice skating.
