Justin Bieber's grandparents, Bruce and Diane Dale, were injured in what has been described as a "nasty" car crash in Canada. Their car was totalled but they both survived. So far, details about the accident are scarce, but JB's mom, Pattie Mallette, has confirmed the accident on Twitter.
"My parents got into a car accident today," Pattie tweeted. "They flipped into a ditch & totaled the car but thank God they are alive! My dad has broken ribs. Plz pray 4 him 4 quick healing! Count your blessings & forgive ur parents always. U never know what tomorrow holds!!!"
As Justin Bieber's mom indicated in her tweet earlier today, his grandfather Bruce suffered several broken ribs in the accident. Fortunately, his grandmother Diane escaped without injury. So far there has been no statement from Justin Bieber or his reps about the accident or about updates on his granddad's condition. However, Justin's other family--his enormous fan base of true beliebers--has already taken to Twitter to express their concerns and best wishes for Bruce Dale's speedy recovery. #prayforjustinsgrandparents is sure to become a trending topic on Twitter if it hasn't already.
Sadly, both Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez have had their share of family troubles during this holiday season. Selena's mom suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage just a week before Christmas. And now, just 2 days after Christmas, JB's grandparents flip and total their car. It's a blessing the two teens have each other for support during this stressful time.
