Scooter became the sole CEO of HYBE America in 2023 after an earlier merger between HYBE and Scooter‘s own company. Variety reports that Scooter‘s decision to step down as the CEO of HYBE America was so that he could focus on other projects, but he hasn’t shared what that is yet.

In a statement, Scooter said, “Being a part of HYBE and witnessing its remarkable growth has been one of the most inspiring chapters of my professional journey. Chairman Bang is a true visionary and a musical genius. What he has built with HYBE is unparalleled. I am incredibly proud of our collective accomplishments and look forward to supporting Chairman Bang and CEO Jason Jaesang Lee in their continued success as I step into what’s next.”

Prior to serving as the CEO of HYBE America, Scooter worked as a talent manager for artists like Justin Bieber but has since retired from artist management.

If you missed it, Scooter recently commented on Taylor Swift buying her masters back.
