Kodak Black has been arrested.
According to a report from the Miami Herald, the 25-year-old rapper was arrested and charged with trafficking oxycodone – a first-degree felony charge – as well as possession of a controlled substance on Friday (July 15).

He was reportedly driving an SUV with window tints that “appeared to be darker than the legal limit” and had an expired registration tag, per a report sent to the Miami Herald by Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Alex Camacho.
After the troopers smelled marijuana, they searched the car and discovered 31 white tablets of what was later identified as oxycodone and $74,960 in cash. According to the report, Kodak‘s license had expired more than 30 days prior to the traffic stop.
In January 2021, Donald Trump pardoned the “Super Gremlin” performer after he had been sentenced to nearly four years in prison after an arrest in May 2019 for indicating that he was not under indictment while attempting to buy firearms. At the time, he was out on bond for sexual assault charges in South Carolina.
More recently, he was identified as one of the three people who were shot while attending an afterparty thrown by Justin Bieber.
