Selena Gomez is making her Saturday Night Live debut!
The 29-year-old Only Murders in the Building actress hosted the NBC sketch comedy series for the very first time on Saturday (May 14).
In her opening monologue, Selena joked that one of the reasons she wanted to host SNL was to find love.

“One reason I’m excited to host SNL is that I’m single — and I’ve heard SNL is a great place to find romance,” Selena said. “Emma Stone met her husband [Dave McCary] here, Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost.”
“And Pete [Davidson] and Machine Gun Kelly,” Selena jokingly said, obviously meaning Kim Kardashian, not MGK.
“And because I don’t really want to try the dating apps, I’d like to put it out there and say I’m manifesting love and looking for my soulmate – but at this point I’ll take anyone,” Selena added.
At that point, SNL cast members Kyle Mooney and James Austin Johnson both volunteered to take Selena out, but she was quick to point out that they’re both married.
Punkie Johnson then decided to shoot her shot with Selena, who responded, “It’s vibe, but lets see how the after party goes.”
