According to Variety, the series will be titled 15 Candles and center on four young Latinas in high school, navigating feelings of invisibility while exploring what it means to leave childhood behind as quinceañera season approaches.

The show is expected to debut on Peacock.

Sixteen Candles, which came out in 1984, put Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall.

The film followed high school sophomore Sam (Ringwald) as she looks forward to her 16th birthday. Upon discovering her older, self-absorbed sister Ginny is getting married the day after, Sam realizes her entire family forgets about her own special occasion.

Just a few weeks ago, Sixteen Candles became reality for Molly as her own mother forgot her birthday.

Selena is currently filming on Only Murders in the Building.
