Selena Gomez is taking a trip down memory lane.
In a new interview, the 29-year-old Only Murders in The Building actress looked back at her most “memorable disaster.”

And that “disaster” was when Selena over did it with the self-tanner paired with her custom Coach gown for the 2018 Met Gala, when theme was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.”
“While I was getting ready for the Met Gala a few years ago, we put on a bit of tanning lotion and it looked beautiful,” Selena recalled to Glamour UK. “But as the night went on it kept getting darker and darker.”
She continued, When I sat down, I saw a photo of myself, and it looked completely orange And here I am at this prestigious event — my first thought was — ‘I have to get out of here!’”
Back in September 2021, Selena spoke with Vogue about the self-tanner ordeal, saying that she knew she was going to be “eaten alive” because of how “orange” she looked.
