Oh no! Selena Gomez reportedly suffered a panic attack before stepping on stage for her performance at the 2019 American Music Awards this weekend.
The 27-year-old singer performed her two new singles to open the show and she put “a lot of pressure” on herself ahead of her first live TV performance in two years.

“Selena definitely had anxiety and a panic attack before she went out and was putting a lot of pressure on herself,” a source shared with E! News.
Another source told People, “She definitely had a panic attack. She was nervous. She hasn’t been on stage in two years, and it’s an important song in her career. She really wanted to deliver.”
Selena has been very open with her struggles with anxiety in the recent past.
After the opening performance though, Selena headed to Instagram to thank her fans for sticking by her side and supporting her in the toughest of times.
“Feels good to be back. Thank you to my entire team and to my fans that stand by me,” she wrote. “All of this is for you and because of you. excited for this chapter #sg2 @amas 💚.”
