Lil Nas X‘s smash hit song “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus is officially the longest running number one single on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song has now spent 17 weeks at number one on the chart.

Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men‘s “One Sweet Day” spent 16 weeks on top of the chart in 1995-96 and Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber‘s “Despacito” spent 16 weeks at number one in 2017.

Two new remixes of the song were released in the last few weeks, helping push the song further along on the chart.
