Just the day before, the 26-year-old DNCE frontman joined Republic Records president Charlie Walk at the Carson Television Center at USC’s Thornton School of Music for a music symposium.
“It’s really important to trust your team,” Joe said to the music students at the lecture. “Even the smallest things, it’s about trusting Republic and Charlie.”
Joe added, “I think for a lot of artists, especially new artists, a lot of times, they think they know everything, but when you walk into it, you have to take a step back. Obviously your art is very important, but these guys know what they’re doing.”
