Niall Horan Sues Daily Star for Defamation After Drug Use Claims

Remember when Niall Horan, Cody Simpson, and Justin Bieber all hung out and pics and video of their hang landed online? Remember how there was a pipe of some sort spotted on the table and reports started swirling that it was a crack pipe?

As if. But, since the harsh crack pipe claim was out there, Nialler was well within his right to take a little legal action against the newspaper that printed it.

Niall is reportedly suing the Daily Star for the crack pipe/drug use allegation they made back in July, with The Guardian reporting that the One Direction singer won the first round of his case against Express Newspapers.

The newspaper claimed that they weren't in the wrong, asking a judge to stop the action, but the court dismissed the paper's application, with The Guardian reporting that "the article was capable of bearing the defamatory meaning claimed."
