Usually known to shut-the-eff-up real quick when asked about his infamous ex-boo, Justin was completely cool talking about her to Billy Bush this time around, all while promoting his new album Purpose. Not only did the Biebs reveal that A LOT of the songs on the new album are about her, (ahem, "Sorry",) he also said that he's still not over her.
In the new interview, which will air on Nov. 3, Justin confesses that, not only was Selena his "first real love," but he hasn't even moved on, explaining that, "I don't know if I'm still over it yet"!
Justin admitted that, yes, Selena was his "first real love," and he is still recovering from their heart wrenching split. "It was really tough, I don't know if I'm still over it yet," he told Access Hollywood. "I think that I'm definitely in another place, and I think we've definitely went our separate ways. I love her and I want her to be awesome, but there are things that remind me of her."
We know, we know. We're basically dying, too. That wasn't it, either. He went on, saying that Selena is "someone I love dearly," and added that "I'm never going to stop loving her, I'm never going to stop checking in on her. I don't think if you end a relationship, you should end that, unless it was super toxic and you guys were hurting each other physically or mentally. We always respected each other and we still respect each other."
Man, why can't all breakups be like that?! #Srsly.
These two have been very vocal about one another lately. Not only has she talked him up and defended his badass ways, but they also just leaked a duet they recorded together a few years ago. Maybe, just maybe...there's still hope for these two?
