While there's loads of interest in One Direction's upcoming album, Made In The A.M., because...well, it's new music and then they go on break soon (le sigh), there's also plenty of buzz about the timing of it all.
True enough, One Direction typically release new albums in November, but this one so happens to fall on the same day as Justin Bieber's upcoming album release. Will there be a complete meltdown among the two fandoms on November 13?
People are totally taking sides over whether 1D or the Biebs will have the better album release, but honestly, we have no doubt both will do just fine, no worries.
As for that release date timing, was it a strategic move on 1D's part? Justin thinks so, noting in a recent interview with Hit Music Now that he picked that day first.
Justin explained, "I'm not really going on the road much, but we're talking about them right now so it gives them some promo, right? That's probably why they did it. I think it was strategy on their part, 'cause my release date was first. It's whatever, it's gonna be fun. I'm excited to see what happens."
Is the same release date going to give One Direction's album more of a boost? Nah. We think they'll probably do just fine, with or without the buzz of Justin's album.
Despite the craze surrounding November 13, the good news is that there's something exciting and new for both fandoms.
