Joe Jonas Gushes About Gigi Hadid: Why He's 'Really Proud of Her'

Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid have taken their relationship to the next level - yep, G.I. Joe have made it red carpet official. Next thing you know, they'll be engaged and heading down the aisle.

Well, maybe we're jumping the gun a little bit, but it's nice to see these two all glammed up and hitting the carpet together at the Global Lyme Alliance gala in New York. Although, we have to wonder why they look so glum?

While Joe didn't talk to interviewers on the red carpet, he did recently gush to E! News about his girlfriend. And it's every bit as sweet as you'd hope.

While promoting his band DNCE's new single, he was asked if he'd written a love song for his gf. He hasn't yet, but it sounds like love is on his mind, as he explained, "I think when there's love in the universe, it's easy to write love songs."

He also had serious praise for Gigi's recent letter to body shamers, saying, "I'm really proud of her. I think it's something that needs to be spoken about especially in that community. The industry seems to be changing for models, and it's great that she can have a voice."
