Zendaya Gushes About Demi Lovato: She's 'Always Been Really Nice to Me'

Demi Lovato just took plenty of heat for her comments following the reveal of Zendaya's kick-a** Barbie doll. When Demi put out the request for the doll maker to create a curvier version, many believed she was stealing Z's thunder a bit and making it about her.

In a new interview with ET, Zendaya gushed about Demi when asked which fellow Disney Channel alums have reached out to her.

Keep in mind that this was recorded before Demi's tweet (which she later deleted), as Zendaya explained (1:45 in the video): "All of them are super dope. Demi has always been really, really nice to me, she's always reached out and stayed in contact with me and checked in on me. Z called her a "sweet person."

As for Demi, she didn't apologize for the tweet, but did have something to say about the media who have been blowing it out of proportion:
