During a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, Selena actually opened up about all that Zayn talk. She explained that she does know him in real life, so she doesn't think it's "weird" that he gave her a follow on Twitter.
"I had no idea what that was until somebody else asked me, and obviously I know Zayn, though, so it's not like a weird thing," she said. "I just didn't know who followed me. Thanks for the follow, Zayn!"
When asked if she followed him back, Selena admitted she hadn't, but promised to do so.
"Did I [follow him back]? I don't know, I don't think I did but I will right now. I should do it," she said.
Oh man! Don't tell Justin Bieber about all of this. We're pretty sure Zayn followed Selena to piss him off. He didn't follow Selena on Twitter until Perrie's group Little Mix promoted Bieber's new song online.
