Tyler Posey Dishes on His Past Relationship With Miley Cyrus

It's no secret Tyler Posey was Miley Cyrus's boyfriend back in the day. He's talked about it before, even spilling that she was his first kiss. But, we didn't know all this.

The Teen Wolf star revealed they met when he was just nine years old and working on the set of medical drama Doc with Miley's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. "I was basically the only kid on set. She would come on set every now and then and we became really good friends," Tyler told Entertainment Tonight. "We were both goofy and she was really loud, sweet, and funny -- just a really cool kid."

Later on, Miley and Tyler became "boyfriend and girlfriend" and were in a relationship for two years. "We were so damn young... I would get excited when we would hold hands," he said. Even back then, Tyler said Miley was very self-aware, adding, "She was herself at seven years old. She knew who she was. I never met anyone like that at my age."
Tyler didn't say whether he still keeps in touch with Miley, but, don't look for them to rekindle that old flame any time soon. Although they're both single, the actor said he's going to stay out of the dating game for a while, after calling it quits with his ex-fiance Seana Gorlick last year.

"I'm pretty single and I think I'm going to remain single even if I don't want to be. I'm unstable in relationships," he told HuffPost Live. "I just had a different idea of it before, like I wanted my relationship to be perfect, I didn't want to fight. And there's a lot of hard work that goes into taking care of a relationship, and I just didn't know that then."

It looks like Miley is taking time to herself too since her split from Patrick Schwarzenegger. Who knows...maybe these two will meet again in the years to come.
