It turns out it wasn't anything too magical that hooked the two musicians up. Ellie Goulding is actually the one responsible for music's newest power couple.
The singer and member of Tay-Tay's "Bad Blood" girl power posse opened up to The Sun about Taylor and Cal's love story, and how she had a part in it.
"I did play matchmaker, that's true. Calvin is a really great mate, and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love. I thought, 'They're both really awesome and both really tall. They'll be brilliant together.'"
Uh, yeah! That definitely was a brilliant idea. Let's just hope this one sticks around for awhile!
