Liam Payne: How His Spoon Fear Started Over a Childhood Trauma
Liam Payne's spoon fear is real, you guys. While we've often wondered what traumatic spoon-related event happened to make Liam's phobia (spoonaphobia?) an actual thing, he's finally giving an inside peek at why he's so guarded about the non-pointy utensil.
He recently told Capital FM: "See I'm not so much scared of spoons, I'll hold one. But I don't like eating with them, if they're not my spoons, if that makes sense."
So does Liam carry around his own personalized spoon? We must know.
As for how the bizarre spoon-y anxiety came about, Liam explained, "It is a bit weird. When I was a kid I was a bit naughty at school and when you were naughty they made you do the washing up. I had to wash all these dirty spoons, it was nasty...and then it just kind of stuck with me after. I don't know what people are doing with their spoons, I don't want to know!"
