A few days ago Ellie and Lorde shared pictures on Instagram of them hanging out with Katy and mutual pals. Did they just insert herself into Taylor and Katy's infamous feud?
Ellie captioned the photo of herself partying with Katy, "Don't really remember this but ... good times [dancing flamenco girl emoji]." She was quick to delete the pic shortly after posting, though.
Taylor fans FREAKED out on her because of the shot. They all thought she was betraying the "Bad Blood" girl bond by hanging with Katy.
So is THAT why Ellie decided to delete it? Was Tay pissed off? Did fans threaten her? Not so fast.
"Ohhh, I deleted that because I looked bad in it," she said during a recent interview. "And I think I was a bit drunk. And I thought it wasn't a very good example of myself. That's so funny that um, that's even a thing. No, I delete things all the time! ... I'm great friends with Katy, I'm great friends with Taylor. That's very silly ... I zoomed in on my actual photo, and I was like, 'No.'"
This isn't the only rumor Ellie's had to debunk lately. She also said that she never dated Ed Sheeran so his song "Don't" isn't about her and Niall Horan...
