Former 1D bandmate Zayn Malik's fiancée, Perrie Edwards, specifically came under fire, receiving death threats for saying she had no interest in swiping right for Harry on Tinder.
When Harry's name was mentioned, Jesy Nelson said, "I'm going to have to go with left," with Perrie adding, "Swipe left...I've got to, yeah." Leigh-Anne Pinnock explained, "I would take Taylor's advice and go left."
Things got out of control on Twitter, with the hashtag #DirectionersWantPerrieDead heating up (Did One Direction fans even start this?) and #NORESPECTFORLITTLEMIX getting a workout too. We think whoever jumped on board the hate train against Little Mix might be slightly overreacting.
Meanwhile, a source told HollywoodLife.com exactly why the ladies said they wouldn't want to date Harry, explaining, "Little Mix didn't mean any harm, but they just think Harry's a bit of a ladies man and a player. The girls believe that makes him pretty unattractive and impossible to date because he's not really boyfriend material."
The insider further explained, "Harry also gets so much female attention, so it would be impossible to deal with if you did date him. They love him really, but in the context of that interview, they just believe he isn't very dateable."
