How Taylor Swift Pretty Much Saved Three Fans' Lives

Taylor SwiftTaylor Swift can now add life-saver to her resume. The singer's gift to three fans who recently attended one of her 1989 shows, actually ended up saving their lives.

WBRZ reports that Louisiana teens Elizabeth Dazzio, her sister Caroline, and their friend are thanking T-Swift this week after the singer indirectly helped save them after a brutal car crash.

They attended her May 22 concert at LSU Tiger Stadium, and were driving home when Elizabeth fell asleep at the wheel on a stretch of an interstate. After the crash, Elizabeth was knocked unconscious and the two other girls were trapped.

"You could smell the gas and smoke," Caroline told WBRZ. "I was just thinking we need to get out of this car."

The ladies realized that all of their phones in the car were dead or lost. That's when they were forced to get creative to find help. Using light-up bracelets Tiger Stadium handed out that synched with Swift's music during the show, the girls frantically waved their Taylor bracelet-flares until a passerby saw the lights and stopped.

The driver and a man with her helped pull the girls from the mangled vehicle. Taylor caught wind of their story and took to Twitter on Tuesday, May 28, to talk about it. "This is unreal," she wrote. "I'm so happy they're okay."
