Demi Lovato Explains Special 'Warrior' Song Dedication to Bruce Jenner

At a recent Demi Lovato concert, the singer took a moment to talk about Bruce Jenner, who had recently sat down for an interview with Diane Sawyer. Demi dedicated her emotional song "Warrior" to Bruce, which seemed like a perfect gesture given the lyrics of her song.

During a recent appearance on the Aquino and Abunda Tonight show in the Philippines, Demi was asked more about the choice for her song dedication.

She explained: "I remember seeing the interview the night before and I just was blown away at the fact that this former man, because he wants to be called a woman, he is part of the most famous family on the planet. And by coming out and saying he's transitioning into a woman at this moment I thought was so brave."

Demi added, "That must have been so difficult to do. I don't know him all that well but I am proud of him. I wanted to sing that in honor of him. I didn't plan it. He popped into my head before the song and I was like I got to share this because I'm so inspired by him."
