Zayn Malik Cried on the Phone With Harry Styles Before Quitting 1D?

Zayn Malik called Harry Styles 2 am cried quitting One DirectionWell, first there was the rumor that Zayn Malik told his bandmates he was quitting One Direction via a text message...now comes a report that he talked with Harry Styles and cried his eyes out over the phone. What to believe?



Reveal magazine (via Daily Star ) reports that Harry and Zayn were on the phone 24 hours ahead of the announcement and Harry was doing his best to keep Zayn from jumping ship.



An insider tells the mag: "They were both in floods of tears. Harry was hoping to talk him round and get him back on the tour. He had no idea he was going to drop the bombshell and say he was leaving."



The source added: "Zayn said, 'It's my life with Perrie or my life with the band. I can't do both. I can't go on.'" We're not entirely sure how someone would have that particular insider detail, but if this is true, it's absolutely heartbreaking to imagine the two of them broken down in a puddle of tears.
