His expression says it all, really. During an appearance on ITV's Lorraine show, Nick was asked about making that jump from kid celeb to legit adult artist. The interviewer says: "You look at Miley Cyrus, of course. I think you dated her at one stage and you were all in the Disney bubble together..."
Then, he made the most amazing faces, saying, "Yeah me too, I've heard that as well." Too funny.
Nick explained, "I think that I've come into my own as a man and with that I'm now more comfortable with pursuing the image I want to pursue and curating something that is relevant to me as a 22-year-old guy."
Nick also appears in the new British GQ and had a gab about the Jonas Brothers, saying, "I still talk to my brothers a few times a week but that chapter of our lives is closed. Now it's all about reinventing myself."
He also explained: "Maybe I'm selfish to want to both act and sing because I am very aware that not a lot of performers have that chance. But what I love about acting is the challenge. Music comes pretty easy for me but I have to work very hard on the acting side."
