After telling the world Beck needed to give his Grammy to Beyoncé, Kanye West apologized to the rocker on Twitter Thursday. "I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I'm sorry Beck," he began.

"I also would love for Bruno to sing this hook on this song 88 Keys / Puff and I produced... I even asked Tyler to shoot the vid."
According to the New York Daily News, Kanye's Twitter apology came hours after his interview on "BBC's Radio 1 with Zane Lowe," in which Zane asked him about Beck. "Yeah, I misconstrued that, and I think everybody has a right to an opinion," he told the host. "Everybody has a right be wrong."
"Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé," he said. "At this point-we're tired of it, because what happens is, you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you are disrespectful to inspiration."
Beck, meanwhile, had no beef with Kanye's comments, telling Us Weekly after the show, "I thought she was going to win. Come on, she's Beyoncé!."
"I was just so excited he was coming up," he continued. "[Kanye] deserves to be onstage as much as anybody. How many great records has he put out in the last five years, right? I still love [Kanye] and think he's genius. I aspire to do what he does."
