According to Sunday World, Bieber became a lay preacher after three-months of bible study, and now "wants to bring TV cameras into L.A.'s trendy Hillsong Church so he can preach to the masses and spread the good word as a part-time televangelist."
Not only would he supposedly do that, but he'd also "boost ratings," and raise money for them. He offered to read sermons and make on-camera appeals for donations.
Don't get too worked up about that, though. GossipCop.com says that a rep for Hillsong Church says the Sunday World story is "totally fabricated." Brian Houston, co-founder of the original Hillsong Church in Australia, told them that it's "not true that Justin Bieber has qualified to be lay preacher" or will preach at the church.
Eh, we don't think it would've been a horrible idea. Preaching in church could do JB some good.
