Did Nick Jonas Diss the Jonas Brothers? Didn't Want to be 'Washed Up'

The Jonas Brothers as a group are a thing of the past (sob) and Nick Jonas has definitely moved on to greener pastures. With Nick's star on the rise, it's interesting to see why he decided to jump ship on the family band thing. During a recent talk at Oxford University (fancy!), Nick dished on the breakup and it sounds like he kind of dissed the bros in the process.



He ran down the history of the JoBros, his acting career (shout out to Camp Rock!), and what happened with the bros. Nick took full responsibility for their breakup, explaining when they came back together "some things changed" and it was "a real struggle to find our identity again as a group."



Here's where he threw a little shade, though we understand where he's coming from completely. Nick explained, "At 21, I was not gonna be washed up. That was not an option." It looks like he made the right choice though, as his career is taking off in a huge way. And we're sure there are no hard feelings between him, Joe and Kevin.
