Demi Lovato was rushed to the hospital earlier this week for "significant" breathing difficulties, TMZ.com is reporting. A friend reportedly took Demi to the emergency room at Providence Tarzana Medical Center in California and doctors determined she had flu-related symptoms and a lung infection.
Demi was treated and kept at the hospital, which would explain why she's been noticeably absent from Twitter and Instagram. Since the news of her hospitalization broke, the hashtag #GetWellSoonDemi has been trending on Twitter, with fans tweeting their love, support and wishes for good health.
Over the weekend, Demi tweeted: "Too many haters on Twitter these days. This generation needs to learn how to love a little." During the Oscars, she praised Graham Moore's amazing acceptance speech, writing: "'Stay weird, stay different' - @MrGrahamMoore... God bless you Graham."
