Ed Sheeran To Bring Back VH1's "Storytellers" With Personal Live Show

Ed SheeranSome of you might be too young to remember VH1's epic show Storytellers, but trust us, if you're a music lover, you're going to be excited that it's back. What is even better than all of that, is that they signed Ed Sheeran on to kick off the behind-the-scenes show.

Ed will be the revamped show's first artist to showcase his songs for fans. His storytelling will go down at his January 24th show in Dublin, Ireland.

The show will still give artists the chance to tell fans the stories behind their songs, and will also for the first time be aired on VH1. What's even more rad is that the artists get to pick the venue they want to perform at. It has to be a place that means something to them.

Ed is playing at Whelan's because it was the place where he met Damien Rice. "I was only about 11 or 12 years old when I saw Damien [Rice] play at Whelan's, and that night literally changed my life. The time he spent talking with me after the show made all the difference. It inspired me in a way that I only hope to do for someone else," he said.

More artists who will appear on this season of VH1 Storytellers Live will be announced soon. We REALLY hope Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift get the gig, too.
