Critics aren't the only ones raving about Emma Stone 's performance in Cabaret.
Taylor Swift also couldn't help but show the actress love after she watched her take the stage as Sally Bowles in the Broadway show Wednesday.
"Got to see Emma KILL IT in Cabaret last night!," the "Shake It Off" crooner captioned a shot of the two of them on Instagram. "Every new project she takes on is even more excellent than her last and it has inspired me since the day I met her 7 years ago."
In the split snap, Taylor cuddles up to Emma in one photo and laughs it up with her in another.
According to E! Online, the country star arrived at the show "seconds before the curtain went up" to see Emma perform. Taylor also headed backstage during intermission and again once the show was over to hang out with her.
Emma's pal Jennifer Lawrence also stopped by the show to see her in action back in November. According to Page Six, the Oscar winner, who had six bodyguards with her, came from an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman and hung out with Emma in her dressing room between shows.
