2014 was a big year for celebrity engagements!
In the beginning of the year, a ton of big named celebs got engaged including Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher , Christina Aguilera and Matthew Rutler , and Johnny Depp and Amber Heard .
Just Jared got to break the news of Riley Keough ‘s engagement to her beau Ben Smith-Petersen over the summer.
One surprise engagement came when Benedict Cumberbatch announced his big news to the world via a newspaper.
