Turns out it's none other than Ed Sheeran who gets the job done, as Ashton noted, "collectively Ed Sheeran jingles our balls."
We can't stop giggling, tbh. And it turns out the guys had hoped Ed would fill in for Michael, who had lost his passport and couldn't make it to the London gig. Ashton told Metro (via Noise11): "Ed has red hair like Michael, so we would like him to join us on stage. We already asked him but he didn't respond positively."
The 5SOS guys also gave a little (rather thoughtful, really) insight into Taylor Swift's popularity, saying, "I think she started off appealing to one of the biggest markets in the world, which is country music and then transferred over to mainstream pop and stuff like that...she's a strong female influence as well and I think the girls like that. And guys like her because she's really pretty as well."
Too bad Michael wasn't there to comment, what with him and Taylor being Twitter BFFs and all.
