Liam Payne received some flack this week after a Vine video of him taking selfies with fans went viral and now he is responding to the buzz.
In the clip, the 21-year-old One Direction singer is seen giving big smiles when snapping photos with the fans at the ARIA Awards in Australia, but then wiping the smile completely off his face in between each fan.
“Lots of people saying I was ‘faking’ smiles with fans yesterday… I usually find when ur taking a photo u don’t smile until somebody’s about to take the photo 📷 🌟,” Liam tweeted in his defense.
“Sorry to disappoint but I don’t walk around like this all day… That would hurt!” Liam added with a big smile emoji.
