We don't see any dig at Selena there, especially when you consider the total quote - check it out, it's all about Demi, not Selena: "At that moment, I knew I was doing a lot of things that weren't right and weren't role model like until the day that I saw everything in the bigger picture...if you live your whole career just singing and just taking pictures and just living in front of everyone, if you don't use your voice for good, it's actually a very vain career."
Demi's recent tweet, however, could be about Selena, as she wrote: "Just when your mind finds resentment in someone, pray for their success, their health, and their happiness no matter how hard it may be."
She tweeted it on November 6, the same day Selena released her "The Heart Wants What It Wants" music video, so plenty of people are connecting the dots. Then again, it could really be about anyone.
